Great series of remasters, mediocre box set

"While the final four installments of the Legacy remasters included in this box are as impressive as the first eight, this collection fails to impress as a "box set." There are certainly no bells and whistles to be had save for the physical box to house the collection and a booklet done on the cheap. More a poor collage of photographs than anything, the booklet provides nothing in terms of recollections by the band - or even a track listing for the entire collection. Even the paper stock is no better than that of the average CD booklet.Still, the price is right, considering that it's a bargain for the four CDs enclosed - you're not spending any extra if you planned on buying these albums anyway, so there's nothing lost. And the entire series of remasters boasts enough unreleased live and studio tracks to satisfy a Priest fan looking for extra material, so it's hard to complain too much. If you view this set as simply nifty storage for your new Priest remasters, you'll not be disappointed. If you're looking for vintage photographs and insight into Priest's recordings, though, you'll have to keep looking."
Nice Box set but they made too few of them

"This Box set from Judas Priest was a nice collecter item but it is hard to find if you want one. This orginal set came with the last four remasters in the US line-up."Turbo","Priest ...Live!","Ram It Down",and "Painkiller" and two boxes were made so the album listed as "Killing Machine" on the side is import as "Hell Bent For Leather" in the United states verision. The first two Priest albums "Rocka Rolla" and "Sad Wings of Destiny" are not included in the remasters because they were owned by Koch records and not Columbia. The remasters themsleves are nice with 2 new songs on most of them. Most of the new songs are live verisons but their are some unheard songs also.If you find a used one make sure the hinge in the back is in good shape and you get the booklet. All the other CD's are avialiable for purchase and some people bought the box set broke it up and sold the Cd's by themselfs.Good Luck finding the box if you want it,I thought I add some pictures for anyone interested in the set."
