"Diabolical black metal that will haunt your dreams! Judas Iscariot make many of their brethren seem tame by comparison, with their dark hymns of unfathomable blasphemy. Fans of Marduk, Dark Funeral, and Emperor simply MUST check this band out!"
True black metal of evil might

"This the way its supposed to be! No female vocals, no Peter Tagtren production, just raw, melodic, brutal black metal in the old fasioned, time honored traditions of Mayhem and Darkthrone. Akhenaton is an excellent musician who plays Bass, Guitar, Drums, and does vocals. He has developed over many recordings and this one is a new highpoint in that career. His really GRIM vocals are highly reminiscent of Attila's peformance on Mayhem's De Mysteriis dom Sathanas recording, which is to say that the vox are tortured and pained howls of anger towards religion and its followers. This is as mean as BM gets."
Eternal Bliss...Eternal Death

"I had no idea that America could produce such amazing Black Metal. I have heard other American BM bands and none of them live up to this (except Averse Sefira, another must buy). This is simple, but very effective black metal in the vein of Darkthrone and Infernum (the Graveland side-project). There is a presence of keyboards here, but they are pushed into the background, and enhance the music without taking a choke-hold on it. The guitars are the normal black metal fuzzy, and the riffs are quite remarkable. This is the only Judas Iscariot album that I have heard, but I will surely buy more. This is a must-buy for any avid black metal fan who wishes to step away from the more heard of bands and into the bowels of hell. This is also a must-buy for anyone who is just entering the black metal scene and wants to hear TRUE WELL PLAYED black metal."
JI 'HIF' AMAZING!!

"Simply put one of the best BM albums to ever be released by an american band... no politics, no life metal (...), just cold, grim atmospheric black metal played w/ conviction and hate worship! I won't even get into the musick style, as most ppl know what this is all about already, but this is the coldest JI album to date, easily surpassing all older albums. Trebly guitars (both fast and mid-paced), melancholic keys in the background (though not overused, and only in a few songs), drums have gotten a lot better, and the vocals... probably the best sounding so far. There's really no pointed out highlights, the whole album is pretty much one. play it in the dark and let the sound of Judas Iscariot rip into your ears!!"
