"While I am, of course, blown away by Paco de Lucía, I love this album by Juan Martín because it, more than most, gives you the feeling you're right there participating in a "juerga" (private flamenco party). Mr. Martín easily shares sound space with the dancers, whose footwork is some of the most astounding percussion you'll ever hear, and the singer. You can even hear that very particular use of finger-snapping found in flamenco, so strong that it, too, is a percussive instrument. So many albums focus on the guitar, so many videos focus on the foot-stomping dancing, but this album does a beautiful job of blending it all together so you can tell how everyone involved is working as a part of a group. I use this CD in particular to teach my students of Spanish how flamenco works. Bravo, Juan Martin!"
