Reaching higher

"Josh's first album was fabulous, and I highly recommend it, but "Closer" allows him a chance to work with his new range and explore the industry a little, taking a bigger part in his career by trying his hand at songwriting and playing the piano as his own accompanist. He has continued to reach with his voice, truly earning the title "tenor in training" so many have worked to give him in the time since his first album. Closer also features some wonderful songs with other big names such as Joshua Bell, and the mix of languages is stunning.

A self confessed fan of sad songs, several of the tracks have darker themes, but the passion Josh sings with draws you in and makes it worth it. This CD never fails to cheer me up, relax me, or help me release after a hard day. It is well worth the money, no matter the version you order. (The internet version has 17 tracks, including a cover of "My December" that is quite good.)"
