"I'm a huge fan of Jorge's other early jazzy samba releases, and this one doesn't disappoint. I actually prefer this one to Ben e Samba Bom and Sacundin Ben Samba (both excellent) - the songwriting's a bit more adventurous, and while it's still very jazzy, there's more guitar, less blaring horns, and the flute and piano are a bit more restrained. This is worth picking up for "o homem, que matou..." alone - maybe my favourite Jorge track, and guaranteed to get the kids dancing!"
