"This is by far Jonathan Pierce's greatest work so far. I have followed Jonathan's music since the day's he was with the Gaither Vocal Band and have enjoyed each album, but this one is by far the best. I used to work for Spring Arbor Christian Distributors and had opporutnity to meet many Christian Music Artists who came our way. I had the honor of meeting this young man and I can tell you that he is a class act and very much a gentlemen. He loves Christ, which is the highest testimony any man or women could have attributed to them. Jonathan will move your heart with this album and challenge you in your walk with Christ, as well as musically give you strength in your trials."

"Jonathan Pierce has achieved what few in the Christian music field have done. He rivals the best pop artists in lyrics and melodies. With "Sanctuary" he proves that he is of Steven Curtis Chapman caliber. It is clear that his eyes are on the Lord and what his will is for us in this life. There is no "fence riding" on this CD. This is not crossover music. This is flat out, God-inspired music. I am so impressed with the pouring of out of loyalty to the Lord in "An Audience of One." This music inspires me to be a better Christian every time I hear it. I loaned it to a friend. When I got it back and played it, I was blown away all over again. I am blessed to have an opportunity to have insight into Jonathan Pierce's relationship with Christ. I am so glad God gave him the gift of sharing this with us."

"Jonathan comes in with powerful lyrics that brings draws you near to God. He hits that level of peace that can almost never be felt when you listen to his track "Should have been loving You". He reminds me of Jennifer Knapp in the way his lyrics take charge and lead you to the Higher level."

"Jonathan Pierce new CD "Sanctuary" is absolutely awesome. If you love Christian Music, this is one you HAVE to get. Every single song on this CD is wonderful. It is hard to review it because it is too good to just tell you about it. You have to listen to it yourself to appreciate it. The songs are powerful. They are about the Love of Christ and how no matter how you fail Him, He is there for you. All of the songs are my favorites so I will try to review the ones that haven't been mentioned so far in other reviews. The Giver of the Gift is about how God gave his Perfect Son and how we can all believe in the Giver of the Gift. The Title Cut, Sanctuary is about how we can come to God with whatever and he comforts us. An Audience of One is sooooo powerful. "For An Audience of One I give my life, not for man's applause but for the One who paid the price. All that I do, All that I've become is done for an audience of One". We Bow,is also another powerful song. It is a praise and worship song like you have never heard! Should Have Been Loving You is a song that reminds us that all the love and acceptance we need is through Christ. Once we have Him in our lives, we don't need to look any further. The song, We Live is about placing our lives in His hands! The last song on the CD is All I know is that You Love...and it is breathless. This song sings about how he is the ruler of my heart and sould and how our every breath will rise to praise him and how the Word is eternal, and should I go on? What else can I say, all the songs are just awesome but I don't have much more room to go on, so all I can say is buy and you won't be sorry!"

"This man has one of the most amazing and expressive voices you will ever hear. I enjoy many types of music-from alternative bands to opera to pop to musical theatre, and no one can match Jonathan's unique blend of emotion, passion and pure vocal ability. "Sanctuary" is his third solo effort and is one of the best albums I have ever heard. This album has basically one theme - there is always hope in God. The songs will encourage and uplift (and you may even find yourself dancing along with it!). Jonathan has a beautiful way of presenting the gospel through music that cannot be found anywhere else. Most of the songs fall into the category of easy-to-listen-to pop, with a litle flavoring of Sunday Morning Church (WE BOW) and R&B (I TURN TO YOU). This is "real music." Buy it and let your heart be encouraged!"
