"I think that it's difficult to find something truly personal and real these days, especially where music is concerned. Perhaps that's why I enjoy this album so much. Listening to it, I never get the feeling that Jon is trying too hard, and that's a good thing. The music seems completely natural, fresh and original to me. It has an organic quality that's appealing. It's sparse, but complex. Meaningful, but understated.

I get the sense that Jon makes music for himself, because he wants to, although I can't be sure. If you're interested in original music, I recommend this album without reservation. This is one of the best albums I own.
