"Used to listen to that record in my old subaru while commuting under the perpetual Vancouver BC rain. Usually a heavy rain, that would stomp on the windshield almost as hard as Russell Simins on his drum kit... And I would be in a trance, yelling and gesticulating and beating the rythm with the brake pedal ! I have been lucky enough to go to an Orange-era JSBX gig and I found in this record the same burst of energy... with a goofy attitude that has since disappeared in their recordings, alas."

"One of the only true spiritual experiences i have ever had aside from
Orange. This album is primitive rock and roll. It inspires, moves, and
is a pure blast of sonic joy. I have worked the music of JSBX into my everyday life because it motivates beyond measure by way of true independent expression. I feel sorry for those who can't hear it. How mundane life must be without the influence of this album driving your soul."
Like the cover says, "PUNK ROCK"

"This is my favorite Blues Exploision album. Not as good sonically as orange, just raw punk, jsbx style"
Amazing!
