Later, he played in the New McKinney Cotton Pickers with Doc Cheatham and with J.C. Heard and Dizzy Gillespie. He has recorded with Kenny Davern, Dan Barrett, Howard Alden, Marty Grosz and many others. He toured with Vince Giordano's Nighthawks throughout the USA. A fine fresh trumpet playin in many styles. "If you haven't heard his Chapter One album, that's even better than Chapter Two and that's saying alot because this is a fine album also. It's hard to find but more than worth the search. It's one of the best modern swing albums I've heard in years. Highly recommended."
