"What fantastic sounds from a group I had never heard of before and only discovered by accident. John Blair is a great guitarist and his band play driving as well as melodic tunes from the surfing 60's. The tone and reverb of his and Dave Wronski's guitar is superb.

There isn't a dud on this collection with the numbers I enjoyed the most being Depth Charge, Earthquake at Surf City and Apache.

This beauty gets 5 stars in my book.

I see from their website that Jon and the Nightriders are in a hiatus mode at present. What a pity as I would buy any new CD from them without prelistening to it.
