Great Vintage Live Show From The Future Skynyrd Frontman

"This is a great Johnny Van Zant live CD. "Two Plus Two" and "No More Dirty Deals" sing my feelings about being let down by so-called loyal peers; "You Gotta Believe" and "Rock Survivors" call for faith and perseverance; "Standing In The Darkness" is a searching ballad-turned-rocker of a person wondering who and what he is, was, and can be; and the rest just rocks. This is a great album; no one does shows like this anymore."
Johnny shows he is an entertainer in his own right.

"Growing up the younger brother of the late-great and all-time best song writer Ronnie Van Zant; Johnny has been called to follow in his brothers footsteps. Knowing that music styles change this album contains some harder driven Southern Rock, while also containing AOR. You'll be pleasantly surprised on how well music followes in the Van Zant family. If you like good ole' rock'n'roll then you're sure to enjoy this."

"Another worthy archive live performance from the King Biscuit vaults.I'm sure that all of you most likely know that Johnny is currently the lead vocalist for the revamped Lynyrd Skynyrd. This 'King Biscuit' gig was recorded at a show in Jacksonville,Florida in June,1985.Apparently in the '80's,Van Zant had a decent solo career where he'd put out something like four, maybe five good southern rock lp's.Notable cuts here include "Two Plus Two","No More Dirty Deals","I'm A Fighter" and "In Your Eyes".Worth checking out for yourself."
