"All songs are wonderful, Grady Martin isn't there on the guitar but Johnny Horton's voice is as lively and listenable as ever. Some of these songs I don't have on the other CD's and Johnny introduces his music with a happy and energetic style that is just plain fun."

"It was nice to finally find live performances of Johnny Horton made available after so many decades have passed. Quality is actually quite good for the most part and Johnny was having the time of his life on the Louisana Hayride. Too bad there are only 10 cuts on this. Price is excellent. I know there are other live performances of Johnny Horton out there, I just don't know where they were done. I am pretty sure Sony / Columbia has the masters on these as they did leave part of Johnny Horton talking to the audience on one song from a vinyl release from the 1970's. This CD is well worth the price especially since Josh Turner is covering Johnny Horton's "One Woman Man" on his new CD "Everything Is Fine"."
