"There are several Rock 'n' Roll/R&B Tracks throughout this collection. Once you get past those tracks....This is a pretty enjoyable set. 12 (Twelve) of these tracks here are making their First-Time-On-Compact-Disc appearence! There is 1 (One) Charted Hit: "Cuttin' In" a Top 10 Billboard 1962 Smash!. If you are a REAL Johnny Guitar Watson fan you will find these tracks very enjoyable, but if you got 'Hook' on Johnny during the 70's you might want to stay far away from this. ALL Tracks on this collection are in Mono! There are STEREO VERSIONS (Masters) of 8 (Eight) of Johnny's King Recordings that was NOT used on this collection and those Tracks are: "Posin'", "Nearness Of You", "Cold, Cold Heart", "You Better Love Me", "That's The Chance You've Got To Take", "In The Evening" & "Those Lonely, Lonely Night", and "Gangster Of Love.
To hear ALL of Johnny's Complete Federal (Late 1950's) & King (Early 1960's) recordings you'd want to check out "The Very Best Of Johnny 'Guitar' Watson: Gangster Of Love" on Collectables ALL from Mono & Stereo Masters! The collection on Ace wasn't really thought out too well."
