"40 records and still a mystery, this is just another great cd by an underrated singer songwriter. America wake up, clean you ears and listen to this guy! He should be in all the Top 10's in the country!"

"Two wonderfull live CD's were recorded that week at the Turf Inn in Scotland. "Live at the Turf Inn" features John and Buffy, only with John's 12 string and Buffy's percussion doing introspective performances. Some of the same songs can be heard again on "Bandera" where John is backed by an amazing rock band that drives his energy into the stratosphere! It "Punch the Big Guy" is considered his best work of the 80's, then "Bandera" represents some of his best work of the 90's. It proves that John must be heard live, if in person or on this CD! Stewart fans must have this in thier collection!"

"John Stewart and a band that rocks. Sounds like the 70's, huh? This is a wonderful album. If you like John Stewart at all, please check this out. I'm not a big fan of some of his recent work, but this shines."
Excellent recording with excellent band!

"The backing band is Glasgow, Scotland's Lies Damned Lies, who in their own right makes great albums. As a huge LDL fan, I was floored to discover they backed the late, great John Stewart. Everybody wins with this CD."
