CD ReviewsThis CD is Awesome! JR is "The King of Groove" j freshdrums | 12/12/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "A great record from the start. JR has put together a collection of tunes that truly shows his style and killer "Groove". With some of the best players on the planet contributing, this CD will certainly appeal to his drumming fans, but also anyone who loves great music. I dig all of the horn arrangements as well but "Hair of the Dog" is absolutely slammin'. I was also happy to hear the vocal tunes on the CD, a great change of pace from your typical "Drummers Record". His version of the Foriegner classic "Cold as Ice" is a huge sounding cut. The vocal arrangements and guitar performance on that tune leave the origianl version in the dust. This CD is a must have!"
