"I first heard "La Serpiente" on this CD on a Bose Demo CD player with Bose Headphones and was hooked!! Couldn't stop foot tapping and finger snapping-felt like a Mexican jumping bean! I was already a fan of Otmar Liebert's flamenco music but "Kiss the Earth" brought me one step further into music heaven!! Once you listen to his music, you'll want to buy all of his CD's!!"
Love this CD!

"My first Nuevo Flamenco CD and it's AWESOME. Very upbeat and expressive. The CD is great to work to because it's soothing yet catchy. I caught my boss humming along with the CD while he was working...I own all of Johannes Linstead's CD's and still feel this is his best so far."
One of best instrumental CDs ever!

"You must acquire this CD if you receive any enjoyment from Latino and/or guitar instrumental music. It is clearly one of the best."
Eclectic Fire!

"My wife and I recently saw Johannes in concert and purchased Kiss The Earth after the show. The show was spectacular, with percussion, Flamenco and Latin dancing, and of course, Johannes' fiery guitar playing. We were pleased that that same energy and passion was present on the album as well."
GOOD - BUT NOT HIS BEST

"I would probably rate this CD much higher if I did not own his debut CD. I first discovered this artist by buying his debut CD "Sol, Luna, Tierra" after listening to it in a bookstore. I was so impressed with this style of music that I purchased at least one CD of practically all of the artists that play this type of music (Ottmar Liebert, Jesse Cook, Armik, Luis Villegas, Nova Menco, Lara & Reyes, Govi, Bendetti & Svoboda, etc.). Some of them are quite good, but Sol, Luna, Tierra still remains my favorite. Kiss the Earth is enjoyable to listen to, but it lacks the originality of Sol, Luna, Tierra. Each selection on that CD has its own unique style and character and they reach out and "grab" you. The selections on this CD seem to kind of fade together (with the exception of a few) and sound similar to other artists."
