"I saw the movie Radioland Murders a couple of years ago and liked it a lot. I grabbed this soundtrack from Amazon just because it was so cheap and didn't really expect anything special from it, but I was very positively surprised when I received the CD. It features some great music from the 1940's, including big band (Glenn Miller's In the Mood) and authentic-sounding commercial jingles, which have actually been composed and written by Joel McNeely, the composer of the film score. There are some good instrumental tracks by McNeely featured too, but the emphasis of the album is on the songs and jingles heard in the movie. A film music buff may be disappointed, but I liked this soundtrack a lot and find myself listening to it weekly.Great nostalgic journey back to the fourties!"
Good Cd, get it if you liked the movie....

"If you liked the movie, which I thought was great, than get the cd. It has about every piece of music that was in the movie. As for the curious score fans out this cd has about 20 minutes of score by Joel McNeely, and in my opion it's great. There are 6 tracks of score by Joel(all in his typical rippoff fashion :purposely barrowed or not:), but he also was involed with most of the promotional jingles and wrote some of the lyrics to them. If you like McNeely you might want to get the cd just for him, but hey, that and some other great 50's songs... it's worth the 6 bucks."
