Stump's Best Effort Yet

"This one is his best yet, in my opinion. The production is much improved, the compositions are very well thought out, and Joe's playing is as clean as it gets.In the past, Stump may have had a tendency to be somewhat "long-winded," but this album is much more focused, and it seems that there are no more notes than necessary. No, I'm not a rock critic, just a guitar player with an ear for the neoclassical heavy metal revolution. Get this one. You'll be glad you did. Then join me in the woodshed.Highlights: Speedball Sonatina, Unrelenting, The Dominance Factor."

"His name sounds like one of Bilbo Baggins' friends. This is the only Stump album I've heard so far, but it is insane. I hope all the others are just as good. If you like this you will also like Michael Romeo's "Dark Chapter"."
