Joe Leavell, director since 2000, has been instrumental in the development of the choir, leading them to their current status as musical trendsetters in the Greater Louisville area. Leavell carries on the tradition of introducing innovative approaches to worship services by implementing drama, orchestra, liturgical and mime performances to compliment the musical presentations. The choir has performed with and can count among their many fans, gospel legends, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Dr. Bobby Jones, Joe Pace and Rueben Studdard. "If you like original Gospel music with a flair this is the CD for you. The CD contains a little of everything in gospel music (ballads, hand clapping, uptempo, and spirtually invoking). Joe Leavell and the Temple Choir recently turned it out at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in Nashville.

With both local and national talent lending a hand, this CD needs to be purchased and played. If you like up and coming Gospel choirs you'll be getting your praise on big time with this CD."

"The c.d is so anointed that it will knock u off your feet...Every song in the c.d was a blessing to my heart. ESP.the song "HIDE ME". Featuring LeCresia Campbell... That lady has a voice that will take u higher in ur worship. "Hide Me" really helped me thru my struggles lately.Pls get the c.d if you love Jesus."
