CD ReviewsGracias Joan Alejandra Vernon | Long Beach, California | 06/03/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is a very personal CD from Joan Sebastian...he gives us a slice of his life here, and it includes 3 great songs of gratitude: "Gracias por Tanto Amor", which is about a lost love, "Celia", for his mother, and "Gracias Raúl", for Raúl Velasco, who's "Siempre en Domingo" show on television was such a huge help in getting Mexican music and singers a wide audience."Copla Campesina" and "La Tercera Maroma" are wonderful songs for dancing, and "Ya no me Quiere" a lovely vals, but all 11 tracks are good, and there's a quality to Joan's voice that I find extremely appealing.The booklet insert includes lyrics (though hard to read because they're over blue tinted photos), and a marvelous photo of Joan and Sr. Velasco on the back cover."Gracias por tanto amor~gracias por existir~gracias por darle el sol~a mi vivir""
