"Joan Manuel Serrat is the the undisputed number one of authors and singers in Spain and Latin countries. He made his own lyrics and adapted to his music many of major spanish poets of XX century ( Alberti, A. Machado, Miguel Hernández). In this album you can find examples of both works. I find his nineties deliveries are well under the standard he obtained in the seventies. If you understand spanish language wou can find here many of the finest verses about love, common people, landscapes, and deeper human feelings."
