"Jizzy Pearl is the consumate rock star. Always has been about sleazy LA rock, from L/H to Ratt and everywhere in between.
This is his FIRST solo cd that was impossible to find, until NOW! Thank god for Shrapnel which re-released this gem.
In comparison to 'Vegas Must Die' i believe this disc is better! The band sounds a little looser than on the newer disc, and the songs here kill! From the rock of 'Feed Your Head' and 'Everything is a Sin', to the more deep 'Never Let You Go' which has an almost Lady Janeish(L/H) style.
The other tracks just rock out big time. 'Extreme' and the title cut kill! Also there are 2 bonus tracks. Covers of 'Hair of the Dog' and 'Since ive been Loving you' by Zep. Good stuff as well.
This is a great solo CD from a singer. The songs stay true to his vein of music and some tracks are more personal.
I hate that Jizzy isnt 'huge' but if that means he will keep popping out great music, then its just as well.. I love it!"
