"Having seen Jimmy's powerhouse presentation up close and personal on several visits to New Orleans's Patout's Restaurant and zydeco club, i couldn't wait to get my hands on the album. Although it can't capture the excitement of his live performance, it does capture his cajun background and technical mastery of the accordion. Chris Brewer is one of the best bassists in the business, and the rest of the band is pretty good too. I recommend this album for sheer fun. Put on some jambalaya, boil some crawfish, ice the beer (if appropriate, of course), put on the CD, and imagine a club full of head bobbing people on bourbon street, boogying down to Jimmy and the band's cajun/rock gumbo."
