"Jimmy Rogers was in the Muddy Waters Band. He first played harp (blues harmonica) and later guitar. This CD was recorded in 1994 but has recently been re-released. Jimmy is joined by two legends - Johnnie Johnson on piano and Carey Bell on harp. Johnson was the piano player for Chuck Berry and it will be hard to find anyone who is better at boogie style piano. Bell is one of the best harp players in blues and he definitely exercises his chops on this recording. This is a great straight ahead blues CD. The songs are some of blues biggest hits. If you have a taste for some blues, put on your bib and serve yourself some mighty tasty blues."
