There are so many better sounding "Best of Jimmy Reed"

"There are so many five star collections of Jimmy Reed's material, some of the most loved and covered tunes in blues, that you needn't bother getting on the waiting list for this one just because it's "out of stock". That doesn't mean it's rare, folks; it's out because it won't sell much, you can hardly hear what Jimmy is playing. You want "Speak the Lyrics to Me, Mama Reed" if you can find it, and Rhino Records' "Best Of" is basically the same music with much better sound quality. A really good deal is the double CD set Boss Man on Recall Records. You get more variety, so you can try to cover a tune that all your friends haven't done yet."
You feel what he is singing

"from the first record to the last, jimmy reed let's you know how he feels. if you threw him in the ocean he would swim to the bank just to get back home with you. how many oceans do you know with a bank, maybe a shore, he knew his music and he felt it. Even when his wife was singing in his ear to help him with the words he was still one of the best. you can't find a bad record on this cd."
