"From slow and lowdown to revved up rockers, this is a great collection. Jim has super tone and soul, esp on slide guitar. BTW, "starvation box" refers to a guitar and the starving musician who plays it for the love of the music. Even if you
have the previous CDs, the new tunes are worth the price.
Check it out."
The best 20 bucks you'll ever spend

"I have never written an online review. However, this cd is so badass I just have to let you know in case you're contemplating
buying it, it'll be the best 20 bucks you'll ever spend. Jim Suhler is, in case you didnt know, one of the most talented and influential blues/rock artists in the world. This cd proves that, without a doubt. I'm usually not a fan of 'greatest hit's cds, but this one is perfect, from start to finish. Especially cool are the "new" songs. If you already have the cd, buy another and give it away. Truly good music."
A Could Mix of Old and New!

"Jim Suhler's recent release is jam packed with a good selection from his three previous CD's as well as 6 all new tunes. The addition of the new tunes necessarily precluded adding some of what others may consider to be some of Suhler's "Best" but how can you complain about one hour of rocking Texas blues from this talented guitarist/vocalist. If you haven't heard him play either with Monkey Beat or with GT and the Destroyer's, this is a good place to start but don't stop there as all of his releases are worthwhile listening."

"This CD offers a little something for everyone. It has blues, rock and to me a splash of country. Jim Suhler is a great Guitarist, singer and excellent story teller. If you've never been to Texas buy this CD and you'll feel like you been here. Jim Suhler is a true artist in every sense of the word. I also take my hat off to Paul Hollis (drums) and Carlton Powell (bass) These guys are so good and when they play together you just feel it all click right into place. Buy all the CD's, go see these guys play live and I'm sure you'll become a convert for life. Thanks"
