"The smooth sound of Jim Reeves has lived on long after his death in a plane crash in July of 1964. This disc is just a little sample of Jim's catalog of favorites. Distant Drums" from 1966 went to number 1 and his rendition of "Blue Canadian Rockies" is just so beautiful it brings a tear to your eye. Jim Reeves had one of the best voices there ever was and this is from a fan who is only 35. Great sampler!!"
