THis guy is GREAT!

"I was amazed to hear someone of Nichols ability that I have never heard before. He is absolutley amazing! His solo jazz playing is lively, precise, and engaging. I bought the CD a few months ago and it has become one of my favorites - always in the car. The CD also has some Leo Kottke sort of things - and he gives a new dimension to this style. You have to hear him to believe him. Give a listen to the samples here and you will be hooked. I have never heard ANYONE play solo jazz standards on a nylon string guitar as fast and precise as Nichols. How does he do it on such a wide neck?"

"It is rare to find a solo guitar recording where every track is a joy to listen to. The Jeff Linsky solo album is another example that comes immediately to mind. Jim's technique is flawless and the song selections are the best. I hope that he records another solo album soon."
