Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jim Dickinson is an internationally known musician and record producer, perhaps best known for recording with the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin and collaborating with West Coast guitarist, Ry Cooder. Amongst his production credits are such names as Big Star, Alex Chilton, the Replacements, Toots & the Maytals, Texas Tornadoes, and Albert King. Chuck Prophet is a Southern California child of the '60s, best known for his years in the classic paisley underground combo, Green on Red. Together they teamed up to record this live album at Slim's in San Francisco 1992, featuring a slew of obscure cover tunes as well as some Dickinson originals.
