CD ReviewsWell crafted tribute to our hero, Gary !! R. Stott | Aurora, CO USA | 03/21/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "From the opening punch of the REALLY pumped up "Jo the Waiter", it is immediately apparent that this is no ordinary tribute CD. Jim Collins has created a true labor of love by reworking and/or faithfully recreating some Numan classics. Outside influences of NIN, Bob Mould and others appear throughout the disc and some of the reworkings come across better than the originals ("Love is Like Clocklaw" and "You Are in My Vision" most notably). Faithful renditions of songs like "Stories", and "I Still Remember" and a suprising acoustic version of "Dominion Day" keep this CD constantly fresh and interesting. Numan fans will greatly enjoy this collection!" A genuine tribute from a genuine fan Joshua Blanc | Quesnel, B.C. Canada | 11/05/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "A lot of effort went into this music, and it shows (or rather you "hear" it). Jim put a lot of himself into Gary's songs, and was not afraid to give each song a unique spin. This CD shows just how much Gary Numan's music means to a lot of people. It might even make people who haven't heard his music give it a try. When you become a Gary Numan fan, your life is never the same." This CD is a crime against Gary Numan Helios292 | Seattle, WA United States | 04/17/2001 (1 out of 5 stars) "You know, as a huge fan of Gary Numan, I am always happy to see tribute albums. But not when the person doing the tribute has no musical talent whatsoever. I listened to Dominion Day on this album and wanted to tear out Collin's eyes with a spork. This was pure awfulness, I'd rather gargle broken glass than listen to this."
