The influences are scattered all over the place, yet the CD is cohesive and tight, held together by common theme of infectious melodies and a twinge of psychadelia. The musical formula still works, and if you concentrate hard enough...soon there will be images of liquid neon projections, moptop hair, and go-go dancers with platform boots."
