"Please don't confuse this with the excellent 1991 CD "Rocking My Life Away" (collection of the Elektra years). The performance is slow, and apparently unplanned: JLL takes requests from the drunken crowd whose voices are constantly in the background. The guitars have an 'up-front' sound which is okay, but the 12-string is out-of-tune! There is not much piano. JLL does "Who is Going to Play This Old Piano" - This is comical since he plays the whole album using an electronic keyboard! In summary, you might have enjoyed the concert if you had attended, but the recording leaves much to be desired."
