CD ReviewsBack in the Days Anthony Leon Hamilton | Texarkana,Texas | 06/27/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "It feels so good to finally get this cd in my collection again. This cd sends me back to some of the best times in my life. At this particular time music was all about the Jackson 5 for me. Unlike most J-5 fans, Jermaine was my favorite of the Jacksons and in my opinion he is the most vocally talented.this album contains covers of a couple of my favorite songs most notably Ain't That Peculiar which he does an outstanding job on as well as Daddy's Home which is my all-time favorite one of Jermaine's solo offerings. Other highlights are I Let Love Pass Me By, Live it UP, and the biggest hit of the album That's How Love Goes. This album is must have for any TRUE Jackson 5 fan. I am very happy to have mine." Soulful and Wonderful...That's Jermaine Jackson Stephanie Dray | Eau Claire, Wisconsin | 06/12/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I believe that Michael Jackson is the most talented singer in the world and listening to Jermaine's first solo release convinces me that he is just as talented as his younger sibling. Like Michael Jackson, I also list Jermaine as one of my favorite singers. Jermaine has a soulful Marvin Gaye sound that is simply amazing (listen to his cover of Gaye's "Ain't That Peculiar," a funkier version of the classic). Jermaine knows how to sing and put real emotion into his music and that's what makes him so good. Every song on this album is wonderful...I especially enjoy "Daddy's Home," "That's How Love Goes," "Ain't That Peculiar," and "I Only Have Eyes for You." It's a shame that a talent like Jermaine Jackson is so underrated!"
