Album Description
?We Hate You? is a compilation of three gigs from nearly 200 that the band performed. The earliest is their support to Sham 69 at The Vortex in January 1978, the second at The Marquee in January 1979 and lastly their 20th anniversary reunion in Leeds in May 1997. The CD includes eight tracks that were only performed live and are exclusive to this release. Of these the highlights are the vitriolic ?Mummy?s Little Darling Boy? about Princess Anne?s son Mark Phillips and the angst ridden ?I?m So Bored With My School?. Sleeve notes were written by Jerk?s guitarist Paul Gilbert and the booklet includes previously unseen photos of both the band and the audience(!)
