"I thought Toback's last album (Perfect Flux Thing) was gonna be impossible to top, but this follow-up is fantastic! With unexpected hints of Neil Young (Will I Find You), Tom Petty (Green Light) and John Lennon (Day Will Rise), Jeremy Toback has created an album that gets better each time you listen to it.Since seeing Mr. Toback at Lollapalooza a couple years back, I've known he is a force to be reckoned with on the nation's music landscape. Another True Fiction confirms this in unequivocal fashion. Rock on good brother Toback!"

"I'm not a musician, so maybe there are flaws with this CD that I cannot discern, but I sure like the songs he writes, love the voice, and the guitar is a real good balance between clangy and ballad-y. The lyrics on "will i find you" and "perfect from the start" are way above the usual, too....So from a layperson's perspective, I say buy it!"
