Jenny & Tyler's sophomore record "This Isn't A Dream," released on 5 April 2009, expands on their debut album "A Prelude" lyrically, melodically and stylistically. The title track "This Isn't A Dream" fuses unique musical ideas with soul-confronting lyrics. The second track, "One-Eyed Cat," is what Nashville was on "A Prelude," cheeky, inviting, and lots of fun. The album takes the listener on a roller coaster ride of emotions. After listening to a song like "Muse," one is left believing in the beauty of romance. However, "Love Through Me" and "Desperate Faces" question whether we as human beings are truly loving each other in the simplest ways: by providing for each person's basic needs. These songs are meant to challenge the listener and ultimately bring hope in the midst of such injustice.
