"I first experienced this exceptional voice with the release of "Jennifer Rush" in l985, which gave the world the best version of Power of Love - which she co-wrote. But, make no mistake, this woman can sing anything!
Other outstanding selections on this album are; Destiny, Live Wire...(very sexy), Into My Dreams, Nobody Move, If You're Ever Gonna Lose My Love, and The Right Time Has Come Now. Jennifer Rush has one of those rare gifted voices with a delivery that matches every inch of her talent. Just go to her web site..(JENNIFER-RUSH.COM) and give a listen.
I especially love the way she pronounces some of the words to the music, and her voice is powerful without being SHRILL. Shall I say.. you'll feel the heat and the beat!! Hope you enjoy!

Get into Jennifer Rush- this is a good start

"Jennifer Rush-what can I say she has an amazing voice. This
CD is actually a combination of two of her CD's. She was signed
to Sony and released three albums here in the states. She
came along before Mariah Carey and Celine Dion- and her voice
is better than their's will ever be. Her sound is unique.
She lives in New York but is like Madonna in Germany. She is
also very big in Europe. She first recorded "The Power Of Love'
and it was and still is the biggest selling single in the history of England. Her version is awesome. This CD has dance
tunes and ballads. The reason Jennifer Rush was not a success
in America is simply because she is too good. Her style is
very unique and voice is very strong. Everyone who hears her
agrees that Jennifer Rush is the best. Her other CD's are
imports and I can tell you one is better than the other.
She is a perfectionist and it shows in her music"
One of the best voices

"She is excellent, there is no comparison between her and Celine Dion"
Magnificent in its "Power" which should be the album's title

"When I first heard Jennifer Rush on cassette in 1988 and it was her "Power of Love" which overwhelmed me, I became 'spoiled' in my acceptance of other attempts to match her vocals. Nana Mouskouri is the only other artist who mesmerized me like Jennifer Rush - now that I have all of her CDs and have had to replace 2 due to excessive use I ask - what happened to this artist? - she is Magnificent!"
"JENNIFER RUSH IS SOOO... UNDERATED!

"As my title implies, JENNIFER RUSH was truly underated and underappreciated. The mainstream didn't give her a chance back in the 80's. I think she's finally receiving her just desserts and notoriety in the 2000's; however, she's always had a legion of fans on a sub-pop level.
Every song on this album could've been released as a single. Songs back then were arranged better and had a memorable melody or chorus and her compositions are a testament to that.
Some artists no matter how gifted, will do better commercially outside of the U.S. I believe her music was embraced more by european listeners and probably gay men 100%! So I highly recommend "JENNIFER RUSH"... and remember she is the co-writer of and original artist who recorded "POWER OF LOVE". This woman is a powerhouse; that's probably what inspired two other power-houses in their own right, the late LAURA BRANIGAN(1987; appears on her album "TOUCH") and CELINE DION to do covers of "POWER OF LOVE."
