I'VE ALWAYS TOLD THEM (WHO HAPPEN TO BE BOTH MILITARY AND MUSICIANS THAT I WOULD ASK HIM TO SING AT MY WEDDING ONE DAY BUT IT WOULD PROBABLY COST AN ARM AND A LEG. MY MOTHER WOULD ALWAYS REPLY JUST OFFER HIM FOOD THAT SHOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH! WELL BACK TO THE SUBJECT, I AM CONSTANTLY TEASED AT WORK WHEN I PLAY THIS CD BUT IT DOES GET THE ATTENTION OF THOSE WHO GREW UP IN HIS TIME. THIS CD IS GREAT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY #2,#3#8#6#12#14 WELL PRACTICALLY THE WHOLE THING!!!!!!!!!! TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS ALL!!!!!!! YOU'RE IN FOR A TREAT!"

"This CD complements Hip-O's sterling Ultimate Collection. All but one of these tracks (the Najee duet "Loving Every Moment") charted on the R&B and in some cases the Pop charts. So, if you have the Ultimate Collection and this you have ALL of Osborne's solo chart hits. The 4 L.T.D. tracks are fine (especially the overlooked "Stranger"), but I would recommend their A&M Greatest Hits album if you like what you've heard by their selections on both of these Hip-O albums. One note: these are more than rejects. Ultimate Collection was great but could've included "Soweto" which shows up here. And relive again the excellent ballad "Let Me Know" as well as overlooked Osborne gems like "If My Brother's In Trouble" and "Can't Go Back on A Promise". Also, as of this writing only 2 of Osborne's A&M albums are in print . His first 2: Jeffrey Osborne and Stay With me Tonight. Since, the Ultimate Collection took all the hits from those albums, their are NO tracks from those two here. But no other A&M is in print so this becomes an essential purchase for Osborne fans. The remaining out-of-print catalog gets represented here. If you are new to Osborne pick up Ultimate Collection, his 2 A&M albums and LTD's Greatest Hits set first and if you like what you hear (and you will) then go for this CD and his 2000 Private Music debut, That's For Sure. Die-hards should buy it now. It is budget priced and most of these make their first CD appearance. Jeffrey Osborne is a great Soul voice that deserves to be rediscovered."

"Actually, the reviewer "Blues Fan in VA" had a good point about the omission of "Greatest Love Affair", which was on Jeffrey's "Stay With Me Tonight" album. It's one of my all-time favorite ballads from the incredibly talented Mr. Osborne. With the title so similar to George Benson's "The Greatest Love Of All", it's an easy mistake to make. The important thing is: we've FINALLY got the best soul singer ever back in the music business, recording new studio material and performing frequently for us all to enjoy."

"This CD nicely collects the hits that wouldn't fit on Jeffrey's amazing Ultimate Collection, and his songs have never sounded better. Just a note to the reviewer in Bristow, VA: the likely reason that 'The Greatest Love of All' isn't on this CD, is that it was a hit for George Benson, not Jeffrey Osborne."
I have to question...

"I have to question some of the choices on this one....Replace Brother with Greatest Love of All. Replace Soweto with I'll Make Believe. Substitute Room with Ain't Nothing Missing. And add the bonus track Congratulations."
