2008 release of Jeff Martin's Spoons, A Collection of Remixes, Collaborations & Interpretations.The record is a collaborative project featuring tracks from the second Jeff Martin album, Spoons. From the sleeve notes of the album, 'After the Spoons record was released, I decided to send the album to friends & musicians I admire and I asked them to work on their own interpretation/remi. As the results started coming back to me, I was impressed by what I heard and decided to release them as a combined piece of work. This was a personal experiment, never originally intended for release, but it turned out to be an interesting record in its own right.' Since the release of Spoons Jeff Martin has toured with full band and played with numerous acts including The National, Lambchop, David Grubbs, Archer Prewitt, The High Llamas.
