Product DescriptionIn June of 2007, 100,000 copies of Jeff Austin Black s EP were offered for sale at 1500 Safeway stores nationwide to help raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. The foundation has raised millions of dollars over the past 20 years with this highly successful campaign centered around Father s Day. With a joint partnership with Safeway, this unique opportunity brought Jeff s music into markets all over the nation, with extensive promotional support. They were all sold.
Efforts included:
A clip from Jeff s song We Belong played once an hour in every Safeway store nationwide; a promotional statement that mentions Jeff s name and encouraged shoppers to buy the CD at the register, following the clip.
Distribution by Men s Health Magazine, as well as at several Major League Baseball parks around the country.
Appeared and performed the national anthem at a San Francisco Giants game on Friday June 8th at AT&T Park to help support sales of the EP.
Other performances at other Major League Baseball parks around the county are being scheduled in coordination with PCF
Yahoo! music is also secured to feature Jeff in support of his upcoming album.
At SIRIUS Radio, Criminal is already in rotation.
Two finished professional quality videos for the songs Summer Nights and Save Us All. Save Us All features actress Melinda Clarke from the cult television series the OC.
Jeff was a featured artist on Nissan s 8 week Shift to Nissan Tour that covered markets in Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Dallas.
The singles, Save Us All was featured in Prey, in an episode of the ever popular CSI Miami. The episode continues to air internationally thanks to extensive syndication, and has brought in fans from around the world.
Showcased in 2006 Americana Music Festival in Nashville, which also included shows at popular hot spots TIN ROOF and 12th and Porter.
