A French Springsteen

"Excellent CD by Capdevielle who captured the essence of French rock in the 80s. The lyrics are direct and straightforward (and alone, worth the purchase, by the way)--the music reminiscent of Springsteen.
This has become a classic, coming up when French rock matured and rose to its apex before the next wave in the late 90s (fueled by RAI, among others). The fiery performance and the restless breath of it all are unequaled. Capedevielle has not done anything comparable after this, despite a couple notable songs later on."
