One That Will Please

"The repertoire is comprised of mostly familiar standards, but you won't get bored listening to this CD. Originally issued on an obscure LP on the Starfire label, Diamond Cut has filled the CD with more than a hour's worth of music, in very good sound, by adding five previously unissued titles from the same 1977 concert. Of special interest is Clarence Hutchinrider reprising "Smoke Rings," the selection that brought him to the public's attention when he was featured on it during his tenure with the Casa Loma Orchestra. Of this recording, the IAJRC Journal CD reviewer wrote: "Here is one that will please most of you, I'm sure." I concur."
