Digitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of album from the acclaimed American singer/songwriter (each containing a live bonus track from 2003): Revenge (1995) and Hunger (1997). Revenge, originally released on the short-lived Beacon label, was produced by Janis and John Jennings (well-known for his work with Mary Chapin Carpenter), who hired Janis' dream band (including Steve Gadd and Willie Weeks) for the recordings. It includes "Berlin", written with Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes. Hunger was co-produced with Jeff Balding (known for his work with Trisha Yearwood amongst others), with one track produced by Ani DiFranco.
