"I only knew "Calling all Angels" prior to this anthology, but this has been on my CD player constantly since I got it several months ago. Her lyrics are playful, profound, inspiring, joyful, heartbreaking. She provides rich vocals, arrangements and concepts. This is a big bite of music, and you have to spend the time to chew on it and learn what it is really about. But it is well worth it. Since I have been listening to these pieces, other "pop" music has become less interesting because of the complexity here. If I want to have a wonderful day, I play "The Life is a Red Wagon" or "Red High Heels" and bring a dose of joy with me. If you have an interest in challenging, ethereal, sometimes playful music, check her out. If you're looking for the latest recycle of a pop, folk, or jazz diva, skip it."

"This is a splendid anthology of one of the greatest artists of our time. All the best songs from her many albums are here, thoughtfully sequenced (all four parts of "Map of the World" are brought together), and accompanied by an informative booklet with some great photos of Ms. Siberry. Except for part 4 of "Map of the World" there are no new or previously unavailable songs, but that's OK."

"I bought this album for "Calling all Angels", but stayed for all the rest. Jane Siberry is an unique voice of today, She reminds me that folk music as a form and influence is still very much alive."
