"This a 2 disc set,one CD and one DVD,The DVD says its a 1979 concert and it also has Glen Campbell as a backing artist and to my surprise it features the 2 actors that were in the Jan and Dean biography movie,their on stage with Jan and Dean singing,The quality is only average but I don't think there's many Jan and Dean live concerts avalible so I give it 5 stars just for historical reasons.The CD is also live but does have a few studio recordings."

"DVD: This is an extremely bad video quality recording of excerpts of a 1979 TV special containing some concert footage. Most of the lead vocals are by the backing musicians. Notice the song titles. There's plenty of stuff written by The Beach Boys but where are all the classic Jan & Dean songs? I count 3. (Some may dispute this but I'm saying this based on the most well known songs they recorded. NOT cover tunes.)

Not much to see here except for a classic clip of Surf City that goes back to the glory days of early 60's Jan & Dean. Not worth watching.



CD: This consists mostly of the audio portion of the DVD mentioned above.

The 5 studio recordings that are left are all re-made versions.



This is a rip off to Jan & Dean Fans and to the casual listener. I'm convinced it's a bootleg. The menu is proof of that.
