"Sure, the music is catchy and lyrics are funny, but the real reason to put this at the top of the family car CD rotation is that after a few listens you will feel better about yourself as a parent, your kids will feel better about themselves, and you'll all be singing along to the chorus of "Are We There Yet?" (my favorite). As a bonus, you can throw away the whole shelf of parenting books; this album has songs for and about all ages (OK, ages 1 to 8 particularly), with devastatingly precise portrayals of each age. "I Am Five" and "I'm Six", for example, are completely different songs, but just from the titles alone you can spot the crucial distinction, the confident use of a contraction by the six year old. Now go and listen to the songs. The album ends with a promise that "we'll have to finish the story some other time". I can't wait."
Wow--what a great (and unique) CD for kids!!!

"I always thought that one of the most fun parts of parenting would be sharing great music with my kids. But it turns out that finding great kids music isn't that easy. There is so much junk out there!Bad Mood Mom is one of those rare CDs that my kids (5 and 2) both loved right off that bat, and which my wife and I don't mind listening to over and over in the car (or in the family room). The songs all have both a unique perspective (in terms of their subject and/or narrator) as well as a distinct musical style. While Broza's voice isn't virtuoso quality, it's got a friendly quality about it, and grows on you over time. Plus the music has what seems like an endless wealth of really nice touches--the creators obviously put a lot of TLC into this one.My 5 year old definitely relates to many of the songs, and laughs out loud during each listen. "Are We There Yet" is one of the funniest, and most truthful, kids songs I've ever heard.Anyway, you can get a decent flavor of the CD from the samples that are on this site. All I can say is that we're very glad we bought this CD, and look forward to Broza's next release."

"All I can say is that Jamie Broza must be living at our home. He has captured so many of the joys/frustrations/hilarious & ridiculous moments of parenting, that it's scary...scary fun that is!Every song has something really special about it. We have way, way too many kids CDs in our house and car, yet somehow this one has stayed on the playlist for over 6 months, the best endorsement possible. Hope another album will be coming soon."
Crowd pleaser

"Awesome! This CD saved our sanity on an 11 hour car trip with our 5, 7 and 9 year olds. We love it. Broza is funny and smart, pleasing both kids and parents with his perfect descriptions of family life."

"as a mother of four kids under the age of 9, i found the catchy, happy tunes of bad mood mom transforming me into a great mood. living in the great big state of texas, we spend countless hours in the car. how refreshing to have a cd that all the kids get excited about. i can actually relate to the jingles and my kids feel like it is written about them. cheers for this dad for producing a feel good, clean, fun product that the whole family can enjoy. it has become my favorite gift giving idea for birthdays, new baby, christmas and hannukah. extra kudos for the catchy title and darling packaging."
