I saw him open for Maria McKee several years ago in Dallas, (Maria is the sexiest siren ever...and was stunning that evening)...and all I could think during Hall's performance was "...this is the incredible energy of the legendary early Replacements live shows reawakened."The CD is an absolute freight train, and it's still not quite the event that happened on the stage. These songs are so thick with sound and the lyrics so intrically woven, it'll take you several spins just to catch up with his emotional momentum.I wish he'd given succesive offerings for our enjoyment.
