Sound of guitar over shadowed by backup instruments

"James Gabriano is a wonderful guitar player and gifted writer. However, on this CD, the impressive sound of his guitar is over shadowed by the other instruments, especially percussion. This CD would have been much more enjoyable and satisfying had the sound of Gabriano's talented guitar playing been more prevalent. I find this same problem with other smooth jazz artists who allow the other instruments to dominate the music."
