"When I received James Stark's "Fortress of Solitude", I remarked that the publisher seemed to be absent from the jewel case spine; thereafter reading further in the booklet, I realized he was funding his own releases. This is an impressive accomplishment. Within a hour of listening to this CD, I purchased every release available. The music is a complex blend of darkwave and synth with vocals that at moments recall Midge Ure in Ultravox ("Tears in the Dark"). James Stark is quite a talent and his releases should, must be in your collection."
SO SO SO GOOD!

"ok, picture a cool autumn night with someone you love... you walk along a path under the soft moonlight and no words need to be shared, the love just exists. the night continues on full of perfection and bliss. now imagine what the soundtrack to that night would be and if you like something dark and heartfelt, this is the perfect match. give James D Stark a shot and buy this cd. you wont be dissapointed!!! my favorite tracks are all of them but especially"

"It isn't too often that I hear something from the musical "undergroud" that I think the masses would enjoy, but I feel confident in stating that many people, if given the chance, would greatly enjoy this album... particularly today's youth who seem to enjoy the "dark love song" music. As the other guy said in his review, this is probably the most romantic album that I've ever heard, despite titles such as, "Dying Beauty." "Home" is my personal favorite starting off with heart-melting lyrics and soft synthetic music; ending with a strong dark dance beat. Stark truly combines many aspects of electronic music here."
