CD Reviews* * * Another gem * * * A. Browne | USA | 09/13/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "It seems like I cannot get enough music from Reverend James Cleveland who left us in the early part of 1991. The Reverend was known for his raspy vocals with some heavy lisped words (unclear at times). But we did not mind, because we all sang along with the Reverend! The Gospel was in the air when the Reverend hit the keys (piano or organ) and sang a note!
This album is a cross between two of his very best collections. I only wish it contained more songs, because it will have become a true collection of Reverend Cleveland's greatest hits! " |
